How can I get OdorKlenz-Air Cartridges?
The OdorKlenz-Air Cartridges are currently only available to ServiceMaster Clean franchisees.  If you need this service performed for you, contact your local ServiceMaster franchise and ask for OdorKlenz-Air.

Why is OdorKlenz better than what I am using now?
OdorKlenz is designed to capture a variety of odor causing chemicals in a safe, environmentally friendly process.  OdorKlenz products are: fast acting, safe to work around, easy to use, environmentally friendly, can lower overall cleaning time, and get you back up and running.

What happens if I have a problem with the air processor?

How long does it take to eliminate the odor?
OdorKlenz works by offering quick knockdown of airborne odors (OdorKlenz Air Systems) which begins immediately upon use, but the time required is dependant upon the contamination level and the size of the treatment area. Surface cleaning through liquid and dry powder treatments may be required for destruction of odors at the source (OdorKlenz-S and NanoZorb).

How frequently do I change the filter and/or OdorKlenz-D?
Depending on the odor contamination levels, the OdorKlenz-D will have different use life. For heavy odor contamination, it is recommended to change OdorKlenz-D daily. For lower odor levels or for continuous use, change OdorKlenz-D as needed based on return of odor. The prefilter needs to be changed every 6 uses of OdorKlenz-D

Who currently uses OdorKlenz?
OdorKlenz products are currently used by a variety of industries for different applications, including: restaurants, professional service providers, hotels, laboratories, businesses, and schools.

What is the technology? How does it work?
OdorKlenz is a blend of specially made earth friendly minerals [Magnesium Oxide (MgO), Zinc Oxide (ZnO), and Titanium Dioxide (TiO2)]. Our unique manufacturing process yields materials that have broad chemical neutralization capabilities due to the large surface area, small crystallite size, and high porosity.

How effective is it on a particular odor?
OdorKlenz is effective against a broad array of odor causing chemicals. Different mechanisms of action are faster than others.

Can I use OdorKlenz-S in a carpet cleaner instead of the soap/detergent I currently use?
It is not recommended for use as replacements for soaps and detergents in carpet cleaning equipment. Although it would be effective for mild odor remediation on carpets, the equipment manufacturers typically do not recommend using solids or suspended solids as they may clog the fresh water line.

Is OdorKlenz safe?
Yes – The components of OdorKlenz are environmental safe earth minerals. You do not need any special precautions; simply wash the material off of your skin. If inhaled, no special actions are required. It is not dangerous/corrosive/toxic/explosive.

Is OdorKlenz-S difficult to remove from carpeted surfaces?
No. When used in conjunction with the recommended equipment, OdorKlenz-S is easily removed from the odor contaminated area.

What is the shelf life of the OdorKlenz products?
OdorKlenz-S is designed to be used all at one time to properly address the contaminated source. OdorKlenz-D has a use life of 24 consecutive hours. Unopened product has an indefinite shelf life.
