Live Agent Testing: Chemical Warfare Agent Neutralization

Evaluation of NanoScale Formulations (FAST-ACT and NanoActive TiO2) and Performance Comparison to A-200-SiC-1005 and PRF-EA-D-2166 B Requirements

Summary:
Battelle Hazardous Materials Research Center personnel completed comparison testing of NanoActive TiO2, FAST-ACT and Guild A-200-SiC-1005 (sorbent used in the M100 and M295) against Chemical Warfare Agents (CWAs). NanoActive TiO2 and FAST-ACT met the PRF-EA-D-2166 B requirements for use in the M100 kit and performed better than M100 under the requirement conditions (2:1 sorbent:agent ratio).
